Who we are
CM Solutions (cmsolutions.tech) is the trading name of a sole trader based in the UK. CM Solutions is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: contact@cmsolutions.tech.
What we collect
When you email us, book a call or use our enquiry form, we collect your name, work email, company, sector and your message. If we use the Meta Pixel to measure our adverts, it runs only where the law allows it.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry (legitimate interests or steps before a contract).
- To measure our adverts (consent, where required).
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run this site and reply to you, such as our website host, email provider, our booking tool (Zoho Calendar), and Meta if we use its pixel. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months after our last contact, then delete them.
If we emailed you first
We send a small number of emails to UK limited companies and LLPs about services that may be useful to them. This section explains where we found your details, as UK GDPR and the email rules (PECR) require.
- Who we email. Business addresses only: a general address such as info@ or office@, or a named work address the firm publishes on its own website.
- Where we got it. The Companies House public register (company name, number, status and type of business) and the firm's own public website. We do not buy lists and we do not use personal social media.
- What we keep. The business name, the business email address, the public page where we found it, the date we emailed, and whether you replied or opted out.
- Why we can. Legitimate interests: offering a relevant service to a business. We weigh this against your interests, keep the emails few and business-only, and you can object at any time.
- How to stop it. Reply "stop" or "unsubscribe" (either word works), or email contact@cmsolutions.tech. We stop within 24 hours. We keep the address on a short "do not contact" list only so we never email it again.
- How long we keep it. If you do not reply, we delete your details 12 months after our last email, the same as enquiries. If you reply, your details are treated as an enquiry (see above). The "do not contact" list is kept for as long as we need it to honour your opt-out.
- Your rights. The same rights apply to you, including the right to complain to the ICO. See Your rights below.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Email contact@cmsolutions.tech. To stop any email from us, reply "stop" or "unsubscribe" (either word works) and we will stop within 24 hours. You can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
